Ringstad Sjøhus

At the end of the 18 th century Ringstad was a centre for Fishing and seamen, Fish trading, shop, ship repair, bakery, steamship transport, post, and much more. Ringstad was the trading centre for all the necessities’ of life. As the people moved away and the village got smaller it needed a new purpose so was converted into accommodation. We can now offer the following:

Flats

5 flats in the main house that has been rebuilt after a fire some years ago. Each has a kitchen, lounge, shower and toilet plus 2 bed rooms. Enough room for a family of 5 or 4 adults.

Bjørn house

The white house is situated behind the main house, has its own small garden where you can enjoy the evening sun. The house has 3 bed rooms with beds for 6-7 people including 1 double bed. Lounge with a dinning corner, kitchen, shower and toilet.

Butikken (shop)

The old shop is a traditional Rorbu (fisher hut) and is situated on the key. The hut has 4 bed rooms with 10 beds, 2 toilets, 1 shower, a kitchen and lounge with a table to enjoy your meals. It is the old style that has a charm of its own that makes this so popular.
